What Selah does

Selah is built around a simple workflow: capture → study → grow. Here’s how each part of the app fits together:

Prayer Board

Track prayer requests on a kanban board with drag-and-drop columns.

Knowledge Graph

Auto-extracted theological concepts, themes, persons, and places from your notes.

Search

Hybrid search combines keyword matching with semantic similarity across all your content.

Import

Bring in existing study material from Markdown, Word, PDF, CSV, and plain text files.

Get started in four steps

1

Create your account

Sign up at Selah and complete the short onboarding flow to set your role — pastor, group leader, or personal disciple — and your preferred Bible translation.
2

Make your first capture

Head to Capture and type a thought, observation, or scripture reference. Selah auto-detects scripture references as you type.
3

Write a note

Open Notes, create a new note, and use /scripture or /passage to embed a verse. Move notes through Capture → Study → Done stages as your understanding deepens.
4

Talk to the Companion

Open Companion and type a question, or try /prep to begin a guided sermon preparation interview.
You can also connect Selah to Telegram and chat with your AI companion from your phone. See Telegram integration to set it up.
